Hello I know we aren't supposed to do politics on here but just wondered hoe many folk think that we were swizzled on Thursday my area said it wad for a police and crime commisioner when we got to the polling station it was a totally for a political party that the police and crime commisioner was in,I thought these sort of people had to be impartial and not be local councillors   jezza

The PCC elections were the same this time round as in all the previous elections.

The successful candidate is supposed to work impartially once elected, irrespective of whether they were an independent candidate or one nominated by a recognised political party.

Whether one likes it or not, it's the system which was set up by the government when it introduced PCCs
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
