That's equates to £9.38 for 300 L, which is a whole 2 pence cheaper than the MAKCRO price ( of £9.40 incl. VAT).

Sorry if my post caused that - I thought I was taking the mickey out of myself  for only be able to find a deal that was 2p cheaper! - which becomes meaningless when mileage is taken into consideration:

wickes has 2 deals at the moment, the one stated above at 4x80l bags for a tenner and an other being 150l bags at 3.98. if my calculations are right, that would make the 300l target at below 8£ ( sevenninetysomething...)

My 320 litre for £10, seems beaten by this offer from the same store by £8.49 in lieu £10(pro-rata £3.98 for 150L).

Any better offers before I head off to Wickes?

P.S. Went to my local Wickes Extra on 9/1/08, but they didn't sell the 150L bags, only the 80L.
