Title: What should I give this Hydrangea ?
Post by: mrs bouquet on June 27, 2021, 11:53
I have two new ones planted in matching containers.   One is "Little Lime" which is doing well and very green.  The other is "Runaway Bride" which looks quite yellowy.   Yesterday I looked at the bride with an assistant at the g/centre.   As we looked she said look at the colour of the new leaves, which looked a bit yellowy.
I have given them a seaweed extract feed a few weeks ago.  Should I give them more or buy some sequestered iron for it as well.   Thanks,   Also can I mix the seaweed and iron together in the can ?  Thanks again.  Mrs Bouquet

Unless your soil/potting compost is  extremely poor (which I think is unlikely), just provide some balanced fertilizer.

How large are the containers? They should be at least 5-gallon containers with good compost.
