There's nothing even close to ripe around me yet. And even when there is, there's no apples to go with it :(

I went out and foraged my apples! Seek and you will find. There are apple trees all over the place :D

They look delicious. :) :)
I am using windfalls and blackberries but in crumbles, and danish apple cake at the moment.
And apple crumble ice cream with blackberry sauce. :)

Well, yes, I've got a couple in my garden, but this year there's no apples on them. No apples on any of the other apple trees in the area either.

I find that hard to believe! You must look harder :D You sound like my husband when I send him out shopping and he comes back empty handed :nowink:

The farm where I keep my horse has an orchard with a couple of dozen apple trees, normally enough to keep 30 horses and lots of people in apples for a long time, but this year not a single apple. There's a couple more places with orchards in my lane too, and there's no apples on any of them.
