One of my favourites!
Chick peas for sure, but now you got me thinking!
I don't always use tahini but it does add something to it but my most common additives are Chilli and Sun dried Tomato.

I also like to add curry paste, or tandoori paste (the one you usually use as a marinade, very fragrant)

Also try these.
Finely chopped olives.
Capers
Basil

I would tend tocallit something else ifit wasn't chick peas as the classic with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic. I have put smoked paprika in it before now or roasted red peppers. :)

I also imagine it would be good with sumac and I think I'll try that in the next day or so. :D

Oooh nom nom.  Love Hummus.  I'm trying to be good at the mo so:

Chickpeas
Greek yog - full fat or fat free equally as good
Lots of garlic crushed
lemon juice - little squeeze
pinch of cumin
plenty, plenty sea salt and freshly ground black pep.

Whizz in processor, mini chopper.

Spoon into bowl, scatter with chopped coriander.
And a drizzle of good Olive/ British Rapeseed oil over the top if you fancy

Eat. Nom
