Horseradish advice

Don't know about harvesting but it's a swine to get rid of so don't worry about it not coming back next year!!!

if you leave harvesting till the autumn when the frost has killed off the leaves it makes the roots stronger tasting and a better sause.
the crown ( where the leaves grew) cut a inch or soo down and replant in the ground and it will grow for next year. can also be grown in a flower pot and put in the ground in spring. A stone free site is best the roots dont fork easier grate.
it is said the roots can go down to 10 ft or more, will grow anywhere in full sun, a full grown plant in flower looks very tropical swaying in the breeze.
it was the only plant growing on lottie when I took it over years ago, where dandylions couch grass and thissles also wild blackberries were dying this plant was thriving.
cover it in manure in the spring and watch it go ha ha
