I am sooooo excited.  Hubby picked up the new girls this morning and they are on their way home. He said they are gorgeous little girls and he loves them already. Awww Bless.  Only another 2 hours to wait.  Will have to remember to make a fuss of him too.

It is.  Everything is ready (minus the yukky snake).  Should I put some rescue remedy into their water? They will have had a very long journey or will that have them bouncing off the walls?

I travelled to just outside Penrith and met up with Cochin off this site (she had travelled down from near Peebles with them) and then had to travel back to Lincolnshire so they had travelled a few hundred miles and they were fine with just water and a little bit of mixed corn.
I also know Grannie Annie took some chickens up from Lincolnshire on the train all the way up to Munty and Aggys place in Scotland and she gave them a sponge soaked with water to drink on the way up and these were ok, but if you want to give them some rescue remedy then it can't do any harm

On the train?  Hubby has stopped every so often and given them water and they have food, but whether they have eaten/drunk I don't know.  Will see what they are like when they arrive. Not long now.
