I have quite a bit of lettuce that needs to be eaten, and I can't say that I am that inclined towards salad at the moment given the weather. Can I give it to my Ducks and if so how much?

As lettuce is mainly water and not much food value I think a small amount would be best.  I know that it can cause the runs but ducks already have that!!

Mine love lettuce and will eat as much as they are given i no time flat! Never really noticed any difference in their poo except the colour!

My ducks love lettuce and cabbage - they chase the hens away to get at it.

I recall seeing an episode of Hugh F-W where he brought in a few ducks to help sort out his slug problem - the ducks didn't take long in devouring his rows of lettuce instead 

So yes I think ducks eat lettuce
