sorry but it may not make it being so young, however if you are willing to give it a try then yes do try the vitamin drops. You can get them for birds and a lot of places sell them for pigeons (Harkers is one make). Try to get one with Vit D in it. They are fine without food/water for a couple of days but then you may have to show it where its feed/drink is by tapping the food/water.
Staffies are softer than you think.

When one of mine developed it I went to Boots and had a word with the pharmacist - he was very helpful and gave me it in liquid capsule form. All I had to do was pierce the capsule and you had a handy pipette for dosing the chick.

Good luck!

just went to my local boots and they only had a "syrup" type baby vitamin supplement for babies over 4 months!

would this be ok?

maybe i could dilute a drop with some some water?

What about vitamin drops for cage birds like canaries.  You could try at your pet shop.

I love my traditional clean legged English Cuckoo Marans

that will probably be the same one as the pigeon type DBE.
I would use that rather than the baby syrup.

Unfortunaely silkies seem to be prone to wry neck.

It can respond very quickly to vitamin drops though, but if it doesn't you may have to cull the chick :(
