Maslin- how much fruit?
« on: July 17, 2011, 21:03 »
Hello!

I don't post in here very often but I have a query so thought I would see if you guys could shed any light on this...

I've just bought a Maslin (9 litre) for jam making and the like but I have no idea how much fruit and sugar I can get away with before It boils over the top?  Any thoughts?  Hope the question is clear enough!!  Thanks in advance  ::)

I've got a 9 pint Le cresuet that I use for jam making & can get 3lbs of fruit & 3 lbs of sugar with a good rolling boil
