What to do about the weevil?
« on: May 02, 2009, 16:26 »
I planted out some broad beans and now, one week on, the outer edge of the leaves have been eaten. I have checked on the site and it's the weevil.
Apart from spraying with a chemical is there another solution?

Personally I just leave mine alone  and don't bother with anything.  It's usually only a cosmetic thing and once the plant starts to grow, the other leaves are unaffected - then comes the blackfly ....
Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success.
Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.
