Hi there we have got a felt roof on our coop and are thinking of changing it, would outdoor plywood be any good? and what do you recommend for treating it?

I would recommend Onduline roofing sheets.  It's probably going to be a bit more expensive than your alternatives, but it's very long lasting and totally waterproof.  Felt can harbour red mite so I would replace it if you can  :)

Onduline is the best thing for coups.
