Title: polytunnel construction

i am trying to build own tunnel. i,v got all iron tubes for ground. now-will 32mm mdpe pipe be rigid enough for a 15by 10 tunnel fit in 4 tubes each side. grateful for all help.

Is that 15 x 10 metres or feet? :)

People usually use 50mm, as described here

I used 32mm pipe going into scaff' pipe.

If you can see in the photos, I re-enforced the pipe with timber along the roof, it also doubled up for part of the 'clamp' when I put the cover on (where you see the white line in the 2nd photo).

The cover wasn't the normal (proper) [poly cover, but it the re enforced stuff you see buliding wrapped in when they're having work done to them. As was only 2m wide, so it took three 'strips'.

In the time it's been up now, it's not moved (yet), but only 'flexed' in the wind.  :happy:

No problem :) it does make a difference though. Yours will be a little bigger than this.
