Have a Squash seedling potted and with a smallish first true leaf.

Anybody have experience or knowledge on what light, watering,  and heat conditions are best?

Plenty of light, just moist, mine are about to go into the frost free greenhouse for a week or o, then start the hardening off outside process.

Forecast is for warmer weather, so fingers crossed. It doesn't want to be anywhere tropical - that can lead to weak plants that won't like going outside.

Hi, thanks for that advice. Would a south-facing windowsill be too much? Just wonder if full sun could prove too much for a seedling?

Should be OK, just make sure no water or condensation gets on the leaves.
