I use debris netting alot.
But for the blue pipe, if you make a frame with some dowels sticking up you could slot the blue pipes into the dowels making it very portable. Fruit netting should be fine but check daily as with all netting for birds.
If fruit cage is made remove netting on top over winter as snow does lots of damage, same with brassicas.

I'm not removing the debris netting on my brassicas!
There are organised squads of wood pidgeons who patrol my raised beds just WAITING for access!
So I'll have to shake it off and re-fit when it snows just like I had to do every day to remove the tons of fallen leaves from the beech tree........ :D

I use enviromesh. It's a bit more expensive but light enough that you can just throw it over and weigh down the edges, and it keeps pretty much everything out. You can hold up the middle with a plastic bottle over a cane if you have something delicate under there.

I agree - I can never, ever leave netting off brassicas. Goodbye crops.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I use debris netting but supported on lengths of timber cut to suit - usually roofing battens ( my local supplier carries two grades and I use the thicker one) -- plant pot inverted on top to prevent wood cutting net and then held down by old bricks.

I do the same, but, instead of plant pots I use plastic supermarket milk bottles as they have rounded edges and the net doesn't snag on them.

I have also used yogurt pots on top of the sticks and plastic milk or squash bottles full of water to weigh nets down. Easily dumped in the recycling at end of season

Like Vietta I to have gangs of woodys looking longingly at mine under the enviromesh.
Unfortunately a fellow plot holder thought he would be safe this late in the year so he took his nets off, I hadn't realised they could do so much damage in so short a time :( , by the amount of feathers i think one had closer look at my netting & got mugged by one of the local cats :)
