Do roma tomatoes look like two toms fused together when just coming into fruit.  Or have my Roma's some weird deformaty

Ah some of my tom flowers look like that, with a green leafy bit poking out of the middle. They could be Romas as I planted them, but unfortunately switched all the plants round so they are now Gardener's Surprise  I was wondering if they were deformed too

Romas seem more inclined towards 'twins' for some reason. Anytime I grow them, I get loads of doubles, some with very peculiar features  ;) Consider it a bonus.
