I have just built my brassica cage from Black Deberis netting, it is great and Im sure it will let enough light in.

it looks increadibly strong and much easier to handle than net with bigger holes

I have 10mm net last year and the cabbage whites just fly through it as though it wasnt there, quite freeky to watch

Just bought some debris netting off ebay. £30 which isnt too bad for 50 metres. I view it as an investment - I'm sure it lasts for a few years doesn't it???

Spot on modfather, poltholder next door has some of the larger holes stuff and its looking very weary, its only a couple of years old, and thats despite him taking it indoors when not in use. Ive posted on another thread that another holders debris netting has lasted him 8 years. A bargain!

Quite right peapod!

I've bought 50 M of the stuff. I'll probably only use lengths of 10m each time and if each length lasts for 8 years and provided I dont lose it of course, I shall need to revisit ebay for it again in my sixties!
