Broad beans
« on: May 06, 2015, 06:46 »
Outdoors broad beans are flowering, variety is Wizzard, they have also stayed upright in the wild weather of yesterday - I am well chuffed!!! Just hope the weather picks up a bit so the bees can do their thing!

Mine are Windsor and are about 4 inches tall. I'm wondering, can it get too hot for them? We're already hitting the 80 degree mark and I'm thinking I should have planted them a lot sooner.

About a quarter of mine were knocked over by the winds and I will be propping them up again this morning. Don't want to lose the beans... :nowink:
