At last I can do no more and at a week old I finally bring 6 chicks home tonight. I am dreading choosing which 6 I want, so I think I might let someone else choose for me. I have no personal experience of chicken keeping so have no preference. How can I possibly let a chick know I chose it last. They also haven't been sexed, wonder what my odds are of getting 4 girls. The egg provider is taking any cocks back so no worries there. Once home and settled I shall take individual photos and the guessing can begin.
 They were going to start in the Kitchen in the garage but have decided to put them in the utility for a couple of days so I can check they are happy with the temperature. Also I want to chat to them so they get to know me. Roll on 2.30.
