« on: January 26, 2011, 11:14 »
well what can i say seems like another year of all my cochin going broody non stop .
i have 11 out of 17 of my cochins broody . im not puting eggs under anyo tham as i cant coupe with any more at the min .  i wont have enought room to house all the chick so will have to wait until later in the year to hatch some when i have built about 15 more runs .

how many have you got broody . at this time of year . ??  it strange that its just all my cochins and no other breed . my cochins have to be a good 4 years old now . if not some a little older.    .

i had sherman lol as i called him for 7 years ,,, must be a record lol.   (cockrel)

how lovely that she has gone broody - and just goes to show that given the chance they can all enjoy being normal happy chickens  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.

Mine are always broody.  Used to be 1 out of 3 but this week 2 of them are broody.  It's the Silky in them. Bless  ::)

Mind you, I can't blame them.  I went broody a few times in my time, result? 4 children, 5 grandchildren with another 1 still cooking (due in March) and since then there seems to have been a few additons to my animal family every Spring  :D  :D
