Title: Newbies are us!

Yesterday we took on our first allotment. We are looking forward to the cultivation journey that lies ahead. The plot is overgrown and so needs clearing. Our journey has begun... hoping it's a fruitful one.

Hi and welcome  :)  Congratulations on getting a plot, even if it is overgrown.  At least you have plenty of time to clear it before the main planting season next spring  :)

Welcome in. Take it easy, there's no need to overdo it. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Welcome to the forum & congratulations on your bit of heaven. It will be all the more sweeter once you have got it under control & on the plus side you will know every inch of it.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new lotty  :D

Take pictures at the start so you can see how you've progressed, and if you're doing clearance at this time of year I'd consider covering up the cleared bits so that weeds don't come along behind you ...  :ohmy:
