Bit early aren't you chrissie:-) ---- we made strawberry jam last year but one batch came out like syrup --- so we used it  stirred  into those big plain yoghurt tubs you can get from Lidl – I got her a Tala thermo same as you for this year..

And it is marmalade season. Sevilles are perfect now. Mine doesn't seem to set at the setting point! I still end up with dozens of cold plates!  :)

ive got a ton of marmalade but im going to do some Grapefruit for doris , I carnt find any in the shops and she keeps asking for it .
years ago I did a delia recipie for marmalade and had loads of orange syrup , it was nice on ice cream .
the pans are expencive will see if theres some second hand going .
