I'm sure my chooks are ostriches in disguise - been getting enormous eggs lately! I just weighed one and it was 3 1/2 ounces (old money). That must have been sore!

Want to swap ? My lot are producing ~30g eggs at the moment. I've had words - needed to use 4 in the scrambled egg this lunch time.

My last 3 produced 72-75g eggs daily, remarkably consistent - you have to admire nature.

Nature... 'tis a wonderful thing. The eggs do sometimes do have ridges on them - as though it's taken a fair bit of time to squeeze them out  :blink:
