Unlike Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail, who heeded their mother’s warning about going into Mr McScribbler’s garden, Peter keeps coming in and nibbling the tops of my garlic.
Any thoughts about preventative measures? I thought maybe string strung over the row of plants, with strips of aluminium foil attached to it?

Fleece or ferrets

What I use is a long piece of string the length of the row, about 3 feet high. To this I tie 6 inch pieces of string dangling down, unscrew an old pop/ water bottle, place the dangling string into the bottle to the required height and screw the top back so the bottles are dangling down swinging around. Pigeons and little nibblers dont like them one bit.
Dont have rabbit issues as yet ;)

Rabbits are very bright and if they know food was there before they are likely to go back for it. I would net the whole bed if you can. I’d also think about investing time and money into rabbit wire around your plot.
