Home made compost and lime?

If you are not supposed to manure and lime, is it okay to lime at the same time as using home made compost?

You don't HAVE to add lime. You only need to if your soil ph needs it.

Get yourself one of those soil test kits and find out what, if anything, your plot needs before you start adding stuff.

Thanks for  that.

My soil is acidic, it DOES need lime, i was just wondering if the advice not to add manure and lime at the same time extends to not adding homemade compost and lime at the same time.

Anyone know?
