whats wrong with my peas? (pic inside)

My pea plants leaves have what look like a fungal infection, whats is it and what can i do?

are my peas still edible? or should i cut it all down? and will it spread to other plants?

also if i cut it down can i put it on the compost?

had same thing posted a question couple of days ago.
Agapanthus gave this advice
"Try spraying the peas with approx. 1pt of water to 10 large drops of pure tea-tree oil. This is very good at getting shot of fungus. I sprayed my tomatoes a few weeks ago (had a bit of mould grwoing here and there) and it got rid of it!"
Just sprayed mine today.
 Dont know about composting but would think it would be OK as the heat produced should kill off most things.

I also noted aggys tip, as it made sense, with the teatree oil. I just would never have thought of it  :oops:
