That's the one. We couldn't find more than £2 worth we wanted. Had to put it back and walk out.

In my deprived area it is a 99p Store!  This time of year the gardening section is fantastic...pots, tubs, seed trays, tools, fertiliser, compost etc etc.  I have to make several trips to get what I want.  Sadly, by the end of August it will all be replaced by Christmas decorations!!
We can be sad that rose bushes have thorns, or glad that thorn bushes have roses.

I went to poundland yesterday and they had in the poly tunnels everyone on here were raving about so I bought five.  I also got some more fleece and netting.  The cashier said that as soon as they get the tunnels in they sell out the same day, so I guess I was in the right place at the right time. Next time I'm in York I will look for some more though.  :D

Hiya, is the pound shop near the Minster? Also there is something similar on Clifton Moor, cant think what its called, not Home bargins, is that worth a look?
Ive got a friend who swears by Netto at Market Weighton, think she said they do 10 packs of seed for £1.

Yes, the Poundland shop is just down Petergate from the Minster.

I think I know the shop up at Clifton Moor but can't recall its name as have only once walked in through the doors (and promptly walked out again, it looked so chaotic - more like Matalan after a sale!).

There is a Netto in York too, just to the north of the city walls.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I bought some freesia corms from Poundland, had wonderful flowers.  The following year I bought RHS freesia corms from Wisley..... not one flower :(

Visited poundshop the other day, got some black covering for killing weeds and more 6 packs of seeds. Saw the same black in Wilko's for more than ten times the price
