Small Pond
« on: October 18, 2020, 14:15 »
The tornado that masquerades as my 9 year old granddaughter has decreed that when she comes to stay at half term we are going to build a pond at the allotment.  Ideas please before she books a digger!   It only needs to be small but I'd like some ideas on placement etc.

Not under deciduous trees as they soon fill with leaves.  If you keep an eye on auction and classified sites, people practically give away old fibreglass/plastic preformed ponds.

Thanks, now I know where to put it. Will look for a preformed pool, I want one no bigger than a metre in diameter, I think the tornado is setting her sights a bit higher.

If having this in a public space, ie allotment, please check with them first. Also safety aspect as small children might be around
