For those of you who followed my thread on the unexpected hatching of our goose egg, here is a picture of "mum" and baby who is now 4 weeks old and bigger than his adopted mum. It's been lovely watching her look after him, and trying to teach him what to eat. We had to laugh the other day though, she tried to sit on him to keep him warm and only managed to cover his head. :(

Aw bless! :D Well done to her! :)
-
Awwww what a pair
-
Ahhhh, thats sweet.
-
Oh thank you :) Was hoping you would keep us up to date with pics :D

She got a bit anxious when he discovered the tin bath we'd put out for him. He loved it, and ran round the garden in circles afterwards like he was on speed!
-
I can't believe it was 4 weeks ago... :(
I bet your daughter is so pleased she didn't eat the egg.

On the plus side, I don't think I'll ever need to cut the grass again  but I've never known anything poo as much as Kevin does, I thought the chickens were bad enough
