Trafalgar, Nelson, Doric, Clodius - are all good in my opinion.

What is the opinion of you good people on the best possible sprouts? I am really asking for thoughts on the best tasting sprouts you folks have tried. Thanks :)

You're likely to get a different answer from each person who replies!  I've grown Doric for the last two years and like them - medium sized plants and sprouts - tight and tasty. But then I have very little experience of the taste of sprout varieties. Perhaps cadge some seeds from fellow allotmenteers and try growing a selection?

Soft soap and permethrin is what I use.

Read the label for period between spraying and picking.

If you are an organic gardener then just the soft soap will do a reasonable job.
