new plot advice please
« on: July 31, 2009, 19:26 »
We are hopefully getting a plot in the next few weeks, once cleared we have no idea if we have missed the boat for winter veg? if not, we have a small amount of room and a green house at home, where we can start to grow winter veg. Any ideas what we could grow that could be sowed now???

Thanks
Sian

Forget the greenhouse.

Spring caulis & cabbage can be sown now. I do mine outside in modules, before transplanting to 3" pots & then to final position.

In a couple of months you can think about garlic & Japanese onions straight into the ground.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

There's also a seed sowing chart here
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
