 hello from a damp and dismal day in northamptonshire i need to know if anyone out there has used a mantis cultivator i purchased one about two years ago for my wife to use its still in its wrappers i wonder why?. she thought it was a good idea at the time .i still use my ten year old merry tiller good old faithful still going strong [touch wood] only replaced 1 drive belt. although my allotment ground is partly on heavy side it does tend to get a hard crust surface when the ground dries out and needs cultivating to assist plant growth i though the Mantis would be worth a try to cultivate between the rows as it may not be so clumsy to handle as my merry tiller titan turning on the end of the rows any comments or advise  from those who have used the Mantis there likes dislikes etc would be most appreciated you never know i mite evan get the wife to use it don't hold your breath!!

I can't think of any dislikes at all. I'd like one, but I was given the Ryobi equivalent for free, so I really can't justify buying one!

I have a Mantis, and I think it is superb. I used to own a big Alko rotovator, but the Mantis is just as good considering it`s size and weight.
