Can anyone suggest what the most likely thing to be making these holes/marks on my raddish?

Slugs are usually the first culprit I think of

Looks like slugs  to me.  Constant problem when damp.

Be aware that there are underground varieties of slugs as well as overground ones.  Pellets will only work on the surface ones - nematodes may be necessary to deal with the underground ones.
