It's chillier on the north coast compared to where I am!
My friend lives near Bude and she had loads of snow - we had a sprinkle that did't lay!

We live in area of Bristol that is high up - years ago people with breathing problems could get a dr's note to get a council house move due to the clean 'fine' air!  Now, as far as I'm concerned we have a lovely view of suspension bridge but the icy wind blowing up the english channel.  We spend a lot of time in Mawgan Porth near Newquay which is heaven to me... but still as I said... I could just about manage a life in Italy......

I too am finding the colder and wetter weather a real pain. Last year I introduced my deep bath/bed system which worked reasonably well. This year I made poly covers to keep the wind and rain off and hopefully get the temps up a bit... So far I'm really pleased, only problem is I'm struggling to find more baths!

Surely you mean the Bristol Channel..We are in Corsham and like Brean, Burnham etc...havnt seen Brighton or Bournemouth
