John made a beef ragu tonight with little ricotta and parmesan things that looked like dumplings.
OH said the 'things' were called something like nudies lol, i'm thinking maybe he heard wrong, does anyone know what they were?

Oh for heaven sake, I can't stop laughing.
And here I thought OH was just wishful thinking again.
Thanks for the link Mumofstig, I'm going to make this dish, it looked really scrummy.

My OH's mind was boggling over that too . Not having a computer and google to hand I said I was sure they said nudi.

I made a point of not googling it, can only imagine what sites would have come back

Could it have been gnocchi??
-
No he definitely said nudi (sp). Ricotta and grated parmesan mixed together and rolled into a ball then rolled in semolina flour before cooking.

I wouldn't know, it's that to my simple mind it went on the lines of..
" I thought it was"
"Yes it was - here's the link"
"That's it thanks, sorted".
Just wondered why we were throwing something else in. Might as well have been chalk & cheese to me though!
-
Lol I thought the link with nudies was some kind of joke - I didnt actually follow the link. Learn something every day - am now off to find out about nudies.
-
