Hello there!  I wondered if anyone can help me? I seem to have one hen which is very broody  and another with scaly leg. I have read the forum about the scaly leg problem and like the idea of petroleum jelly....will try this.  But....when I clear out the hen house I am seeing slimy green chicken manure and the hen with scaly leg is looking very sorry for herself floppy comb and lacklustre...is it likely to be scaly leg or have I got another problem on top of that do you think?  No mites to be seen and I have cleared hen house with mite spray and hosed it out and put new straw etc - all that looks ok.  Would welcome any help! I think green poo can be an indicator of worms (though equally it can also simply be the result of them eating grass, greens etc!). When did you last worm your hens? If you do need to worm them then most people will recommend Flubenvet which you can get online.

Thanks for replies. I shall check poo pictures...!  I have just wormed them so I think that is ok.
