Limping Bantam
« on: August 30, 2006, 15:35 »
We have 5 Bantams, (29 weeks and 19 weeks), one of the 29 weekers has developed a limp, and her leg appears to be turning inwards. She is eating, and moving around, and does not appear to be in any pain. There is no sign of any wounds, lumps, or swelling and she is happy for me to handle her and poke and move her leg. She is not laying, but then none of them are yet. She seems happy enough in her self and the others are still allowing her to be part of the group.

I have taken her to our loacl vet, but got no real joy there, as they have never treated poultry before. My gut instinct is that she has twisted her leg.

Any advice would be great.
