Title: Cleaning Polytunnel Cover
Post by: marcofez on February 03, 2015, 21:00
What product would everyone recommend to clean the inside/outside of a poly cover? Would like to get rid of algae and disinfect the inside. I have used Jeyes fluid on my parents greenhouse to good effect but was not sure about using this on polythene covers?

i've been advised to use warm fairy water for the outside.

not thought about inside yet, i'm hoping they do something similar to a smoke disinfecting bomb.

likewise I will go down the fairy route ! I don't think Jeyes will be kind to polythene .

Plain water, no soap liquid at all.

I've always found its best to do it on a rainy day as it softens the green on the outside and washes it away as you go.
