Suspicious Drake

I have 2 pairs of Call ducks, silver and chocolate bibbed. Some weeks ago a lady gave me 2 white males but unfortunately one flew off never to be seen again. I am trying to get a mate for the remaining one 'Olly'  In the meantime the chocolate female is sat on 11 eggs which are due to hatch any day now. Olly has never shown any interest in the 2 females and the drakes show no interest in him however, the silver duck, Esther, has built a nest and laid 4 or 5 eggs in it, I suspect to hatch,  but Olly has taken to sitting on the nest for long periods. Esther doesn't seem bothered by this at all....  Is any of this normal???

Are you sure Olly is a drake?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
