'Carren'
« on: January 21, 2010, 19:14 »
I have a seed packet labelled Carren thats come from a multipack which I don't have anymore.

I've googled it but didn't come up with anything (i'm lost without the pictures )

Anyone know what these seeds are?
What if the Hokey Cokey IS what its all about...

Got a strange feeling that it can be found in bird food seeds, can't help beyond that.

Hi Sam, they are definately vegetable seeds from a B&Q multipack....... thats not to say they are not used in birdseed mind you.

There were leeks in the multipack mum but they are labelled Leek Mussleburgh, all the other packs are recognisable names, this one has me stumped though

They are similar to parsley seed but a wee bit darker.

Carrot seeds are similar to what you describe. Carrot - Carren Hmmmm!
You may have to sow them and see what pops up then you can put us all out of our misery. I guess we have all searched the internet but to no avail.

When you said they looked like celery I thought - carrot. So take the Carr out and you have EN. Which carrot type has the initial EN....Early Nantes. Simples :D
