Val has strings of red chilis hanging in the greenhouse drying out but the habaneros were frozen in quarters - she figures a quarter chopped into a dish is quite enough (I reckon half, but I like hot)

They look so innocent, habaneros.

Our chilis were just hanging in the home greenhouse so we take them off the string as needed.
