Planted in Feb  3 varieties early and late summer and autumn had a few fruit to taste. The new canes have only grown a couple of feet should I cut back the old cane to encurage the growth of the new ones and should I feed them please?

I've got some rotted horse manure I guess agood top dresing of that would be good too.

Now is not the time to do any cutting back. For the early and late summer varieties, wait until fall when the dying older canes are more obvious and the canes for next year's fruiting can do with a haircut. Autumn fruiting ones are usually best cropped short in spring for a good fall crop.

And old horse manure is great for raspberries - just wait until after fruiting is finished, or in your case, fall, so you don't get softer berries that would spoil more quickly.
