leggy seedlings

hi all, I start a lot of seed indoors, but find they get very leggy I have been told it is not enough light but also been told too much light can anyone advise me please. cheers all. :(

Not enough light, and possibly too much heat.

How big are they?  Are the big enough to pot up and harden off ?

I agree with Auntie. (I have to). It cannot possibly be to much light as they are bound to get less than they would do outside! What sort of seedlings are we talking of?

Sounds like you need to deploy the aluminium foil!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

yes they are quite big I would think they are big enough to harden off.

If they are cabbages they can be outside right from the word go. They do not need to be indoors. Might help you next year to know that.
