« on: June 26, 2010, 08:49 »
Hello All

First can i start by thanking all that replied to my recent topic of dealing with a prolapse (Felicity had to be put down) and the speedy comments made. :)

My next topic as above deals with wing clipping .............. I have just got 2 new young girls which are Cream Legbars and currently they are in a seperate pen inside the main run so the other girls get used to them (10 week old) infact they had there first face to face meweting last night and no problems with the first introduction so im pleased with that however at what age can i clip the new girls wings ??? one tried to flap over the coop and dont want a convict loose   :D : :D

I look forward to your assistance and advice

p.s aint the weather fab at the moment

Clip as soon as you an see the flight feathers.
As for the weather, too dry for too long. Will have to buy water in soon if it doesn't rain. The grass is stunted + gone to seed.
I've enjoyed my little moan.
