Best Bantam layers?

OK...so I said I'd get 3 banties....almost got them sorted

but....

4 seems a much better number doesn't it? I mean...it's an even number, may as well round up to an even number?

So...in order to 'convince' the other half if I could get a good layer that could swing it! "Yeah, but she'll lay a lot more regular than the others"

Which bantam would be the best layer do you think? I'll have a white silkie, Lav pekin and Buff orpington (fingers crossed for that last one!). Not sure how good/bad layers those girls will be, but would like to get a regular layer in as well!

Bantams dont lay eggs, they just get broody and pinch everyone else.
Also   to the 4 bantams, you wont stop at 4, we were stopping at 2, then 5, then definatly 6, now we are up to 7.

Try Pimlotts Poultry - they have the same strain as my faverolles. They have the most amazing bantam australorps and bantams favs  and others -they are based nr Preston but do travel all around the North to shows etc. Lovely people and very high quality birds. Dont know if thats too far still? They have buff bantam favs which are adorable on my wish list -mmmm must give them a call..
