i took a few photos of the girls enjoying their dustbath this morning! i love it when they fluff their feathers up, though half of their time is spent trying to push each other out :D

Just out of interest do your chooks make weird noises when they dustbath. I heard all this commotion one day and it was "Mother Hen" having a dust bath making right perculiar row. :roll:

ness my hens are sooo related to yours! peter was painting the shed that's near their run and was grumbling about all the noise they were making -- also they were flinging dirt all over the place, not such a good idea with wet paint :cry:
they sounded so happy though!
my favourite photo is the third one, they look like the yin and yang symbol!
