Title: Lice
Post by: ChristyRose on September 16, 2011, 16:32
I have noticed a few lice on my chickens.  I've seen on here that you can use frontline drops on the back of their neck.  Am I right in saying that this also treats scaly leg mites?  Does it matter if they have a few lice or will it just get worse if I leave it?
I dont like the idea of using sprays and I've heard the powder is a waste of time.  They have lots of space for dust baths.

I am not an expert but I would frontline my hens regularly every few months.  Frontlilne does treat scaly leg mite and lice and other little external visitors.

no there's no special one for chickens  :) you can just use Kitten drops or use the Spray if you have a bigger flock, or have other pets that you would use frontline on also
