Some years ago, I wanted to buy Brian a picture of Penny for his Birthday, but I couldn't afford it.  You should give up that job for a start Debz, farm out the kids, sell all the animals, divorce hubby, then you'd have plenty of time!!!!      Ok, keep Rob!!!!  he's nice! so are the kids, and so are the animals.  Oh well, maybe when the kids leave home?

But I so wish I could do something like that!  My SIL is very good and so is my cousin, but neither of them do it anymore as they are getting old now!!! lol

Well when you do get back into it I could do with one of my old dog Deefor who died 3 years ago - she was my special dog (she was short, fat and very smelly but lovely all the same - still miss her now).

they reminded me of a 'D'Oh!' that my daughter said a few years back when she ws about 10... looking at a painting of Rags, my in-laws dog she asked if it was a self portrait!!!

WOW. Couldn't agree more, very finely executed - just beautiful.  You should see if anyone on here can help set you up with a swanky website and go into business woman!  You have an amazing talent of which I am frankly....rather jealous.   I always think it's lovely if you can make a living doing something you really love and have a passion for.

Thankyou all for the lovely comments!  maybe in the winters months when all my little ones are in their new homes i will have time to do a few! the first one i do is gonna be of my girlies, oh and the ducks, Every year there is an open arts competition at spalding and i did put an entry in about 3 years ago and got chosen to have my painting exhibited, would be fab to enter again with a portrait of the girls 
This was my competition entry! I did it around the time of the 9/11 anniversary which was all in the news and made me cry every time i saw footage!  It is a very political piece but maybe thats why it got chosen!?
