I have just bult an additonal greenhouse heated bed / propagator that works a treat. If anyone's thinking of doing the same post a note and I will provide info. Might not be the best but I know it works. Will work in cold frames as well as a greenhouse / tunnel as long as a 240v power supply is available,

I start most of my veg seed on a heated bed as the germination rates are much higher than sowing direct for most types of seed. Also good for early salad crops in troughs.

Also good for growing early crops of cucumber,courgettes etc. Even planted spuds in bags in the geeenhouse last year that were ready in April!

Not sure if I can provide manufactures names of various components but perhaps someone can advise?
