What's the earliest you get down to the lotty? I bet, during the summer some of you will be up at the crack of dawn....mind you, it's dawn here now....and we're off up the lotty.

Last year I did 5.30-10am during the summer as it was too hot to continue much beyond 10am. Hard to imagine that now isn't it! :roll: the plot sees me twice a week for harvesting and deliveries at the moment :oops:

Still waiting for mine to be marked out, won't push Wilf though as it's horrible down that road at the mo and he's a lovely elderly gentleman.

We go Sundays our only day off. Usally up and out the door after a cup of coffee 7:30 -8am we still have loads to do  if its to wet to dig we carry on clearing

i dont go down to plot today as i have nowt to do or much at all during winter when all my jobs is done . i just does my birds
from  7 am ish .no point going out the gate if i havent anything left to do .and what i do have is just dig out trenches for beans etc and i can do that when i am ready to plant .. all my hectic days are over .now summer i gets my cup of tea out the gate n goes walking round saying morning to my little babies . my big babies well i cuts there heads off if they ready or picks them off the bushes

Just got back....what's the longest stretch folk have done down their lotty?...we've just done 9 hours...blooming marvellous!

Did a 15 hour last june,7.00am till 10.00pm, killed us mind but our gert kept us going with food n drink bless her.

Once last summer got to the plot for 4.45am thinking I'd have at least an hour with maximum water pressure, but no, 5am on the nose, dedicated-digger-dennis who I share a tap with was there to water too!  

By 5.15am there were lottie folks all over the place and zip all water pressure left.
